Situation

Lively, bustling and friendly, Prego is the place to be! Chefs abuzz with the preparation of award-winning Italian home-cooking style dishes in the open kitchen, from which enticing aromas waft to greet you!
The wood-fired pizza oven produces some of Shanghai’s best tasting pizzas while sweet temptations entice you to linger in the dessert lounge, over a cigar and grappa. Perfect for drinks and intimate cocktail soirees, the bar is cosy and welcoming and is also where great coffees are served from!
Prego offers one of the largest selections of Grappa in China (and possibly in Asia). There are 52 varieties to choose from, and Prego is the FIRST restaurant outside of Europe to stock the MAZZETTI brand of Grappa, one of Italy’s most famous.
Dressed in eye-catching jersey ‘uniforms’ which portray the story of Marco Polo bringing noodles from China to Italy as pasta, service associates are friendly and welcoming.

Braised stuffed Squid with White Wine Sauce




Preparation

1.Sauteed Potato,Swiss Chard, Dry Porcini with Olive Oil,Salt Pepper to taste,Then mix with Parmesan Cheese,Filling in the Squid

2.Heat the pan, Sauteed Carrot, Onion , Celery with Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Then put Squid, White Wine Tomato diced, Braised it untill tender,take out the Squid ,reduce the Sauce with dry Oregano, blender it.

3.Arrange the plate with simple garnish.

200g Fresh Squid Clean
100g Potato
50g Swiss Chard
10g Dry Porcini,chopped
10g Parmesan Cheese
10g Carrot
10g Celery
10g Onion
10cl White Wine( maitre de chais)
5 cl Extra Virgin Olive Oil
15g Tomato Diced
Dry Oregano
